Lol. how about this, my friends parents work as translators at the UN. Basically, they translate the UN inspectors reports before they go to representatives. Apparently they inspectors find a whole lot of nothing, and they are searching places that they aren't allowed to search, like peoples homes.

Anyone see the so-called "proof" that was on TV? That was utter shit. Grainy pictures of random trucks. I was really hoping for something more definitive.

Yeah, a 80-100 inspectors in a country the size of California, that't gonnna find a lot. Keep in mind the burden of proof is on the insane despot of Iraq and not us. The resolution (original gulf war one) was drafted saying sadaam must disarm. Through years of inspections and destructions the UN said he wasn't cooperating fully. Then the inspectors left/were kicked out, however you want to see it. When they left they had an inventory of his X number of banned ABC weapons and programs (for all you greek system sheep out there ABC stands for atomic, biological, and chemical: the nasty stuff). Now that they are back he claims all those weapons are gone but can't give any proof! The burden of proof is on him! And anyone who would give someone like sadaam husssein the benefit of the doubt is just fucking Naive. And don't talk to me about UN inspectors, they can't and won't find anything because they don't want to; they have a political agenda at work and its largely influenced by the leftist politics of the EU and the rest of Socialist Europe. I find it hillarious that peacenick barefoot morons will call it a "war for oil" on Bush's part when that's the whole reason France is opposed to war! France has huge oil interests in the are and would stand to lose a lot if the country those intersets are in gets carpet bombed. In addition to that if I were president I would have expelled the UN from New York a long time ago, they have zero relevance or credibility in my mind. This is the same UN that only exists because of us, and they kick us off the human rigths commision and try to appoint (im not sure off this one but its some country like this) syria or lybia inour place. Oh, and they were going to or have appointed Iraq to chair the committee on global disarmament! IDIOTS!!

As far as being kicked off the human rights commitee, that's because many many US company's commit many many human rights violations overseas.

I.E Freeport(?) mining company (based out of louisiana or something) in Irian Gaya, Malaysia. Where a woman was locked into an oil drum filled half full with feces for a month, because she refused to admit to sabotaging their plant, because she hadn't. She was THEN not part of the movement against the mining.

But like I was saying before, I DO think we should depose saddam. You asked for an argument I gave you first thing that came to mind. I even know iraqui people that want Saddam deposed.
